BABY GENIUS®: CANTEMOS LAS CANCIONES DE ANIMALITOS FAVORITAS NAMED BEST CHILDREN’S DVD AT LATINO DVD AWARDS

DEL MAR, Calif. – (April 28, 2008) – Baby Genius®: Cantemos las Canciones de Animalitos Favoritas, the Spanish-Language version of the latest DVD from the award-winning Baby Genius brand of music-based home entertainment and toys for infants and toddlers, was the top winner in the children’s category at the fourth annual Latino DVD Awards, it was announced by Larry Balaban, President of Pacific Entertainment Corporation.

Presented April 8 in West Hollywood, Calif. by Home Media Magazine, the Best Children’s DVD Award was bestowed on Pacific Entertainment’s new Baby Genius DVD by the magazine’s panel of entertainment journalists and critics, in recognition of the title’s achievements in the rapidly growing Latino DVD market.

Filmed exclusively at the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park, the DVD features little kids, baby animals and lively sing-a-long tunes – a perfect mix for an exciting day at the zoo. Lots of giggles and fun are in store as children visit toddling tigers, fuzzy orangutans, furry gorillas and other little newborns.

The Latino DVD Awards were part of Latino DVD 5: The Fifth Annual Latino DVD Conference, produced by Home Media Magazine in cooperation with DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group, the Entertainment Merchants Association and The Hollywood Reporter.
